somatic & ritual integration

1:1 Support

Motherhood can ask a lot of you—mentally, emotionally, and physiologically. Many times the hospital class, postpartum tips, or the general systemic support just doesn’t cover it. You need space to slow down, notice what is happening in your body, make sense of what you’re moving through, and practice meeting it with more support. That’s what this space is for.

In our sessions, I combine guided somatic practices, meditation rooted in your physiological responses, reflection, and conversation to help you prepare for birth or process your experience afterward.

I do not aim to create circumstances for the “right” birth, becoming a perfectly regulated mother, or fixing yourself. It’s about having a place to pause, feel, process, and reconnect with yourself while undergoing a significant transition.

For pregnancy: Somatic Birth Prep

This is for you if you want to prepare for birth beyond knowing the stages of labor and making a birth plan. Together, we may work with:

  • Grounding and coming back into your body

  • Practicing presence during intensity

  • Identifying what helps you feel safe and supported

  • Preparing for uncertainty and changing plans

  • Building personalized tools you can use during labor

  • Exploring fears, expectations, or previous birth experiences

  • Creating a relationship with your body that feels supportive rather than adversarial

This is a three-part preparation for women who want more than information about birth. Through guided meditation, somatic awareness, reflection, and ritual, we’ll create space to meet the unknown, listen inward, and build your own anchors for the intensity of birth.

For postpartum: Integration

Whether you’ve had a hard birth, you feel exhausted or overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or in awe of it all, maybe you haven’t had much space to actually process becoming a mother and let your nervous system arrive. These sessions offer that space to work with:

  • Settling and reconnecting with your body

  • Processing your birth experience

  • Making space for grief, anger, tenderness, or ambivalence

  • Navigating the identity shift of becoming a mother

  • Reconnecting with yourself beyond your role as a parent

  • Learning to receive care instead of constantly giving it

  • Creating moments of stillness inside ordinary motherhood

  • Finding practices that help you feel more present and supported

This is a space to slow down and meet yourself inside the enormous transition of becoming a mother. Through guided somatic meditation, reflection, and ritual, we’ll make room for what happened, what has changed, and give you tools to stay connected as you’re becoming.

For motherhood and the woman beyond:

If you are past the initial postpartum period, I work with women who want to reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel alive, sacred, creative, and spacious. These sessions are an invitation to create more space to listen in your body, reconnect with your vitality, and tend to the woman who is still here beneath all the doing, giving, and tending. This work is for the mother who wants to feel rooted and resourced, yes—but also awake to her life. To feel her own life force moving through again and to let that aliveness become part of the way she mothers.

what a session actually looks like

I’ll guide you through practices that help you become present and notice what’s actually happening in your body, while also giving you room to talk, reflect, and process.

Depending on what you need, a session might include:

A guided somatic practice
to help you settle, reconnect, or become more aware of what you’re carrying.

Meditation or visualization
to explore an upcoming transition or create space around an experience you’re processing.

Ritual
to intentionally mark a transition, honor an experience, or create a moment of meaning.

Conversation and reflection
to put language to what you’re experiencing and identify what kind of support you need.

You also receive simple tools to practice and voice note/message access so you are not alone in the in-between moments.
